Cambodia & Vietnam/packpacking trips

I left again to the East. This time I started from the ancient ruins of Angkor Wat temples in Cambodia... Enormous trees growing on the rocks of the temple walls. It seems you were back on the set of an Indiana Jones movie where the main character wanders inside the ruins in search of unknown hidden treasures. After an 8-hour river navigation I arrived in Battambang where I met four nice Italian people with whom I spent the New Year's Eve on the Sihanoukville sandy beaches. The journey kept on a tiny island off the Cambodia coast where I spent a week sleeping in a shed in literally 7 steps from the Indian Ocean! Then it was the time for Vietnam. I entered by going across the Mekong River. A few days in Ho Chi Minh City, then the train to the North until I reached the beautiful Hanoi and Halong Bay.
