Why Bolivia? For an unexpected meeting with a friend of my friend of Asti just returned from that unknown land. His story impressed me so much to decide of visiting that country. I joined a couple of holidays weeks to a business trip to Brazil. I left on a warm December morning from St. Paul Airport, destination Ciudad del'Este, Paraguay, on the border with Brazil and Argentina.
Once landed, the airline shuttle took me until Iguacu, Brazil.
It dumped me in front of the office, however, closed for lunch break. So I found myself there, just like a dog, with my backpack and my Lonely Planet and I said, " ok , from this moment my adventure in solitary will start ! Go and live ! "And so I did, and I did not stop from that moment on! They were 15 days in continuous change, of life lived till the last second. There I learned to manage risks and changes of plans. I used to change my trip in progress and I did not stop to act in freedom and perhaps, this is the thing that makes you feel more free than ever. The absolute lack of obligations. Lots of goals and the freedom to decide how and when to achieve them!
A journey of 150,000 km around the world meeting associations, foundations, government agencies and parents of people with intellectual disabilities, to allow them all the know deeply the concept of Ethic Hotel-Down-Load Method and replicate it in their land.
